  5. 1. Insert The 1997 Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia™ disc (label side up) into the CD-ROM drive.

  7. 2. Double-click the GME97 icon that appears on the desktop.
  8.  
  9. 3. Double-click the For Manual Installation folder in the GME97 window.
  10.  
  11. 4. Copy (click and drag) the Drag to hard drive folder to the hard drive.
  12.  
  13. 5. Change the name of the Drag to hard drive folder on the hard drive to GME97.
  14.  
  15. 6. Close the Drag to hard drive window.
  16.  
  17. 7. Double-click the Put in System Folder icon.
  18.  
  19. 8. If you do not have QuickTime™ version 2.1 or later, copy (click and drag) the (4) file icons to the System Folder on the hard drive.

  24. - Sound Manager

  26. If you have a Power Macintosh or a Performa with a PowerPC microprocessor, you should also 
  27. double-click the For Power Mac System Folder icon.  Copy (click and drag) the (2) file icons
  28. to the System Folder on the hard drive.

  33. 9. Close all open windows and applications.
  34.  
  35. 10. Restart your Macintosh®.

  37. 11. To run the GME97:
  38.  
  39.         a. Double-click the hard drive icon on your desktop.
  40.  
  41.         b. Double-click the GME97 folder.
  42.  
  43.         c. Double-click the GME97 application icon to start the program.
